Founded in 2019, Bound was built around a simple belief that SEO should be human-centred, transparent, and grounded in real business goals.
What started as a solo operation has grown into an established consultancy supporting clients across the UK and beyond. Much of that growth has come through word of mouth and referrals, and many of our clients have been with us since day one - something we’re incredibly proud of, and a reflection of the long-term relationships that underpin our work.
Bound is intentionally small by design. We’re a boutique SEO consultancy that stays close to the work, gives clients direct access to experienced consultants, and works with transparency and accountability throughout.
Meet the team.
Matt has worked in digital marketing for 20 years, including around 15 as an SEO consultant. He came into the industry by way of a happy accident, when a job in music PR evolved into managing websites and social media campaigns for music industry clients.
After a decade working in agency roles, Matt started Bound in 2019 to build the kind of business he wanted to work for - one that was flexible, creative, and agile - and the kind of consultancy he believed clients actually needed: strategic, transparent, and easy to work with. Outside of work he’ll be listening to music, riding bikes, or disappearing down a niche-interest rabbit hole.

Imogen Crossland
SEO ExecutiveBefore joining Bound, Imogen spent a number of years working in account management for an international charity, before moving in-house as part of the digital marketing team for a global risk advisory firm, all of which gave her a deep understanding of the range of challenges and decisions that internal marketing teams have to make.
A keen desire to hone her expertise, alongside the opportunity to work in a much closer capacity with clients and a shared belief that SEO need not be an intimidating, jargon-heavy, or confusing aspect of marketing led her to Bound. In her 5-9 she can be found painting in the evenings, gardening on the weekends, and catching flights whenever adventure calls.
